2010-2011 Trask Middle School Dress Code
§ All rules apply unless otherwise specified in an educational plan.
§ Winter jackets may be worn to school, but must be placed in students’ lockers.
§ Any outerwear worn in the building must be plain solid red, white, or black hoodies/sweatshirts/sweaters or official Trask hoodies/sweatshirts/sweaters.
§ Shirts:
o Plain solid red, white, or black collared shirts.
o Any undergarments such as t-shirts, undershirts, or camisoles must be plain solid red, white, or black.
o Shirts may display a pattern, design, or logo no larger than 3x3 inches.
o Plain solid red, white, or black hoodies/sweatshirts/sweaters.
o Official Trask hoodies/sweatshirts/sweaters.
o Students are able to wear official Trask school spirit t-shirts.
o Shirts can hang only to the bottom of the front pocket.
§ Pants, shorts and skirts:
o Blue/Black denim jeans, chino, or cargo style pants may be worn.
o Blue/Black denim, khaki or black color pants/capris/skirts/shorts. Shorts, Capri shorts, and pants must be solid and without any graphics, stripes, or designs. Pants may display a pattern, design, or logo only on the back pocket as long as it is appropriate for the learning environment.
o Athletic basketball shorts may be worn at the knees. Shorts may have piping and/or stripes as long as they are within the school colors: red, black, and white.
o Shorts – only Capri and cargo length are allowed.
o Skirts must be worn below the knee.
o Pants must be worn at the natural waist/navel.
o Pants, shorts and skirts may not have tears or holes, man made or bought that way.
§ Athletes may wear Trask team-issued apparel only on game days.
§ Sandals/flip flops are to be worn at your own risk—closed-toe shoes are recommended.
