International Programs
Political Science (SPO)Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Duration: three years – 180 ects
Curriculum: Politics and Economics (English); Democrazia, politiche, giustizia; Diritto, integrazione, mercati; Processi sociali; Storia e cultura politica (Italian)
Description: Bachelor’s Degree in Political Scienceis thought both for International students and for Italian ones that want to take a challenging and innovative path for earning their BA degree. The course inPolitical Sciencehas been thoroughly revised, though still maintaining its multidisciplinary character. The first two years include modules in contemporary history, economics, law, political science, and sociology. At the beginning of the last term of the second year, students move from generalist courses to one of five more specialised options (only Politics and Economics is taught in English). Overall, the multidisciplinary character of the course and the wide number of labs aim at providing students with a flexible approach and cross-cutting understanding of key national and supranational institutions and processes that characterise contemporary societies.

Description: Master’s Degree in International Relations aims to provide a highly qualified background in political, legal, economic and historical disciplines. Particular attention is given to the development of our graduates’ understanding of the international framework of political, economic and social phenomena. The programme is therefore characterised by a multi-disciplinary and open approach to international issues.Our graduates earn the competences required in order to serve in high level State administration institutions, included diplomatic service, as well as in international organisations, NGOs and multinational companies

Economics and Finance (MEF)

Curriculum: Financial Economics; Quantitative Finance, Financial Economics
Description Master’s degree in Economics and Finance offers an exclusive and high-quality study program. Throughout the program, a well-balanced study track builds strong quantitative skills coupled with a solid knowledge base of the underlying theory of finance and economics. Students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to use mathematical models to comprehend complex financial problems and learn how to apply these models in the fields of economic sciences and financial market analysis. During the second year students might choose to specialize further in one of the two fields of Financial Economics or Quantitative Finance, also attending seminars, laboratories and other activities organized yearly by the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods.

Description: Master's degree in Economics and Political Science aims at developing a highly qualified learning track in the fields of economics and political science. The design of this degree is highly innovative and offers a fully internationalised programme, promoting mobility and joint degree agreements with similar courses offered by foreign universities. Students will be able to reach highly qualified theoretical and applied knowledge and skills in each of the following fields: mathematics, probability and statistics, with applications to economic, political and social sciences; econometrics; microeconomics; macroeconomics; economic policy; public economics; welfare economics and politics; history of economic analysis; comparative politics, theory of European integration; positive and normative political theory; decision theory; game theory; social and political choice theory; theory of justice.

Public and Corporate Communications (COM)

Description: Master’s Degree offers a range of specialisations in the professional fields of public and corporate communications, marketing, advertising and political communications. There are two curricula taught completely in English: 1) Corporate Communication, 2) Public Opinion, Market and Communication Research, 3) Comunicazione e marketing. The curricula are geared towards improving the basic competences and specific skills in several fields of applied communication. The acquired competences enable graduates to perform management and organisational roles in sectors like corporate and business communications, advertising and marketing, public relations, public administration, international humanitarian NGOs, journalism, political and electoral campaigns.

Management of Human Resources and Labour Studies (MLS)

Curriculum: Human Resources Management and Employment Relations; Comparative Social Policy and Employment Relations
Description: Master’s Degreein Management of Human Resources and Labour Studies is a two-year programme that complements a business and management orientation with rigorous, interdisciplinary social science training, all from a comparative perspective.The distinctive nature of the programme lies in its comparative approach, strong orientation toward analytics, and the adoption of a learning-by-doing teaching approach which is enriched by laboratories, guest speakers, and events.The programme furnishes access to a network of practitioners, companies, and institutions to enlarge the breadth of learning by the students.The programme offers two curricula entirely taught in English and which represent two interconnected aspects of the area of Management of Human Resources and Labour Studies.
