The Fund total is: $1096.15 with $165 to show on next statement.
The committee decided that we need to capture more of the British community, especially the new joiners about the Brit Fund and why we have it. / SSgt McMann
3 / Item 3 – Review of forecast of events
Christmas function – Voted that $500 will be used for the Christmas function. Intention is to organize a family event such as Bowling.
Battle of Britain - $872.62 returned to the Brit Fund after the BoB.
The money was divided proportionately between Dam Neck and Brit Fund; this was decided because the Brit Fund would not be committed to using those funds for future RAF events. This would also be a great story for the first newsletter (see Item 5). / LWtr Craze

4 / Item 4–Requests for financial support
Remembrance Day Hosting – Wendy Furness
Request for $250 in addition to the $250 from Canadian NLR to host the lunch after the Remembrance Day Service.
Unanimous approval
The committee are satisfied that this event: meets the objective and aim of the Fund, is being organised by a responsible team and also encourages the community to attend the event and organise future events. / LWtr Craze
5 / Item 5–Any other business
Newsletter - The committee are to produce a Quarterly newsletter to show the events that have occurred in the last quarter. A different member to complete every quarter to keep it interesting. The Chairman to initiate the first newsletter.
Branding – Sean King brought it to the committee’s attention that it would be a good idea to brand the Brit Fund with a logo. Potential for a Christmas competition or Sean to draw and the committee vote. / Wg Cdr Al Rutledge
