PRESS RELEASE

Three Drug traffickers including one lady arrested with 1.950 Kg Heroin.

The Narcotics Branch of Delhi Police received information that heroin is being smuggled from UP and sold in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The information was further developed and it was identified that this illicit trade is being carried out in several parts of Delhi. Team under the supevision of Shri Rajesh Deo, ACP/N&CP was constituted to develop the information and conduct raid to nab the culprits.

In the first case on 29.9.07, secret information was received that one Raisuddin (28 years) is involved in illicit trade of heroin and supplies the same in Delhi and nearby area. A team under the supevision of SHO/Narcotics, Inspr. Kharak Singh led by SI Satywan Singh consisting of HC Abdul Hakim, HC Mukesh Singh, Const Joginder and Const. Sohanal was constituted and maintained and it was established that one Raisuddin S/o Sidda Khan R/o C-II-5, Raju Park, Khanpur, Devli Village, Delhi would come to supply heroin. The team was immediately dispatched to take action and it reached in front of Aggarwal Sweet Corner, Bank Road, Tigri Colony, Khanpur, Delhi and mounted surveillance in the area. After some time one person came there and his activities were suspicious and he was identified as Raisuddin, suspected to be in possession of the contraband. The team immediately swing in action and Raisuddin was nabbed and on formal search 255 gm heroin was recovered from his possession. The contraband was seized and a case vide FIR NO. 97/07 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Narcotics Branch and investigation was taken up.

Further investigation of the accused revealed that he was born in poor family. Due to the poverty he could not receive any formal education.. He started in a workshop as a welder.

In the 2nd case on 30.9.07, another secret information was received in PS Narcotics Branch that a person named Mohd. Kadir supplies heroin in the area of East Distt., Delhi. The information was further revealed that this person would supply heroin to one unknown person and there meting point would be near the gate of Karkardooma Court. A team under the supervision of SHO/Narcotics Branch, Inspr. Kharak Singh led by SI Sunil Jain consisting of HC Rajender, Const. Neeraj, Const. Mukesh and Const. Yogesh was immediately dispatched to conduct a raid. At about 4.55 AM the accused Mohd. Kadir (26 years) S/o Mohd. Jalil r/o Village Bhunai, PS Kothi, Tehsil Haidergarh, Distt. Barabanki, UP reached the meeting point where the police team detained him immediately. On his personal search 1.500 Kg of heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 98/07 dated 30/9/07 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS Narcotics Branch was registered and the investigation was taken up.

Further interrogation of the accused revealed that he is an aged about 26 years and was born in poor family. He has four brothers and three sisters. Due to the poverty he did not receive any formal education. He later started working in a local garage as a Tractor mechanic. He is married and having two children.

In third case, on 1.10.07 another secret information was received in PS Narcotics Branch that a lady named Khairun Nisha supplies heroin in the area of North-West Distt., Delhi. The information was further revealed that this lady would supply heroin to one unknown person and there meting point would be near Bus stand Gurudwara Nanak Sahib, Wazirabad Road, Delhi. A team under the supervision of SHO/Narcotics Branch, Inspr. Kharak Singh led by ASI Paramjit Singh with his team was immediately dispatched to conduct a raid. At about 9 AM one lady namely Khairun Nisha W/o Javed R/o H. No. 100, Ilachipur, Khawaza Park-II, Loni Ghaziabad, UP, reached the meeting point where the police team detained her immediately. On her personal search 200 gm of heroin was recovered from her possession. A case vide FIR No. 99/07 dated 1/10/07 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS Narcotics Branch was registered and the investigation was taken up.

Further interrogation of the accused revealed that she was arrested earlier in case FIR NO. 477/94 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS Kamla Market with the recovery of 750 gm heroin. Her husband namely Javed @ Istkar Khan was also arrested vide case FIR No. 30/07 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS Narcotics Branch Delhi with the recovery of 125 gm heroin. She is illiterate and having 7 children.

HUGE QUANTITY OF OPIUM SEIZED FROM TWO

YOUTHS AT TILAK NAGAR

The Interstate Cell, Crime Branch, Chanakyapuri Delhi has busted a drug trafficking network operating from Eastern Uttar Pradesh to Delhi. Police team arrested two persons and seized 10 Kilograms of high quality Opium from their possession. The arrested persons are:-

  1. Mohammed Kashid @ Pappu@Aman Khan Age (25 yrs) S/o Sh.Lalu Khan R/o Mohalla: Imla Darwaza, Kasai Tola, Kasbba & PS Samsa Bad, Distt: Farukabad (UP).

  1. Sayyed Vahid Ali@ Sonu (20 yrs) S/oSarafat Ali R/o Mohalla: Meena Darwaza, Kasbba & PS Samsa Bad, Distt: Farukabad (UP).

On 29th September 2007, HC. Vijender developed information that Mohammed Kashid and Sayyed Vahid Ali were running a drug racket. A team was quickly constituted led by Insp. Jitender including SI. Harivansh, ASI. Rishi, ASI. Chiranji, HC. Pramod, HC Dilawar, HC. Bijender, HC Sanjay, Ct. Ved, Ct. Anand and Ct. Sanjay.

The team reached Nar Singh Garden, Tilak Nagar at 6.45 PM. On the instance of informer the police team apprehended above-mentioned accused persons and on their search 5-5 Kgs good quality Opium was seized from each possession. International worth of the seized Opium is about 10 lakhs.

A case, vide FIR No. 861/07 dated 29/09/07 u/s 18/29/61/85 NDPS Act PS Tilak Nagar was registered for the same.

On sustained interrogation both of them admitted that they belong to Distt: Farukabad in Eastern (UP) and the recovered Opium they had bought from one Tohid, a drug dealer. In the shade of their labor job in Delhi they use to smuggle opium to earn money. Earlier they had also supplied large quantity of Opium to Raju Bengali in Delhi. The police team has dispatched for Farukabad to unearth the entire racket. A large quantity of the Opium was sold off in adjoining areas of Mangol Puri, SultanPuri, Delhi.

Both accused persons have been produced in Karkardooma Court and are in police custody remand. Further investigation in the case is on.

SATTA RACKET BUSTED BY EAST DISTRICT POLICE

With the arrest of 1. Shahid s/o Abdul Aziz r/o 28/1/2 East Azad Nagar, Delhi, 2. Ikbal s/o Abdul Aziz r/o 8/1/2, East Azad Nagar, Delhi, 3. Nasim s/o Abdul Aziz r/o 28/1/2, East Azad Nagar, Delhi and 4. Deepak s/o Chanderpal r/o 30/31, Gali No.4, East Azad Nagar, Delhi, East District police has busted a satta racket.

INCIDENT

On 29.9.2007 Inspector Anil Sharma, Addl. SHO/Krishna Nagar got information that one Shahid was involved in satta with his friends at 28/1/2, East Azad Nagar on cricket match between Australia & India. Inspector Anil Sharma alongwith ASI Rajpal, HC Suresh, Ct. Kapil and Ct. Parmod conducted a raid at the premises at about 5.00 P.M. and found the above named persons sitting in front of television in a room at ground floor of the premises. They were talking on mobile phones and were writing some codes on notebooks.

RECOVERY

  1. One black silver colour television make L.G.
  2. Six mobile phones,
  3. Two notebooks,
  4. Two ball pens and
  5. One iron box containing Rs.25,750/-

A case vide FIR No.462 dated 29.9.2007 u/s 3, 4, 5/9/55 Gambling Act has been registered at P.S. Krishna Nagar and all the above named accused persons have been arrested.

BLIND RAPE CASE WITH A 6 YEAR OLD GIRL SOLVED, ONE PERSON ARRESTED

NTRODUCTION:

With the arrest of a person namely Dinesh, aged 25 year S/o Mani Ram r/o Jhuggi No. 236 Manav Kalyan Camp, Olhla-2, New Delhi , the South District Police has solved a gory incident of blind rape case with a 6 year old girl, in Jhuggi cluster of Okhla, Phase-II. On the statement of mother Kiran a Case FIR No. 71407, u/s 363366376201 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up by W/SI Kiran Sood.

INCIDENT, TEAM & INVESTIGATION:

On the intervening night of 21-22.8.07 a PCR call was received in the Police Station Okhla regarding rape with a minor girl aged about 6 years by an unknown person in a Park near jhuggies Okhla, Phase-II. Being a minor child, the victim could not provide any detail about the assailant, and thus leave the investigation team clueless. But in view of the nature of the incident a special police team was constituted to explore any possible clue regarding the accused. The team of P.S. Okhla consisting of S.I. Neeraj Chaudhary, W/SI Kiran Sood, HC Nahar Singh, Ct. Naem, Ct. Brij Mohan under the leadership of SHO/Okhla and under the supervision of ACP/Kalkaji geared up its resources and developed information regarding the persons previously involve in such attempts/crime. The photographs of ruffians were shown to the residents of the area to verify the persons roaming unnecessarily in the area. During this exercise Ct. Brijmohan zeroed on one Dinesh, who was seen roaming in the area on the day of incident. The above Dinesh was also booked under Arms Act in July 2007, and was not traceable after the date of incident. The team started making all possible efforts to trace him. The victim also identified the accused from his photograph available in the dossier of accused. On 29.8.07 HC Nahar Singh, Ct. Brijmohan, Ct Naem received information regarding the accused who was roaming in the area of Okhla, Phase-II. The information was immediately passed to the IO W/ASI Kiran Sood. Acting swiftly on the information the team arrested the accused Dinesh, who during interrogation admitted his crime. The victim and Public witness also identified the accused correctly.

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation, it was revealed the at Dinesh s/o Maniram originally belongs to Kanpur (UP) and is uneducated. He is living in Manav Kalyan Camp Jhuggies in Okhla, Phase-II, since birth. His father was working as a laborer in factories. He also started working as labour. He got married in 2001, but his wife Bhagwati left him in 2004 due to his ill behaviour. After committing the incident he started living in Faridabad . His wife also disclosed his previous involvement in such case in Agra city, which is being verified.
