Unit Issues

Maintenance Request Process: All maintenance requests must be approved by the landlord or manager of the unit. If you have a maintenance issue in your unit and are a tenant, you need to contact the owner or manager first, and then they will contact us. If you are an owner, please contact the management office directly. If the maintenance concern is severe in nature, i.e. water streaming into your unit, electrical smell or a significant life safety concern, then you may contact the management office directly.

Maintenance Fee: There is a $45 per hour charge for maintenance services at the Crest, plus the cost of supplies. This will be charged to the owner's monthly HOA dues.

Leaks: If you discover a leak or other water intrusion issue which has the potential to flood your unit, cause serious water damage, or leak into another unit, this is considered an emergency, and the owner or manager of the unit must be notified immediately.

Please keep a close eye on the following:

□ Air Conditioner that has a full drain pan

□ Leaking fridge line behind the fridge

□ Washer or Dishwasher that leaks during or after use

□ Toilet which appears to be overfilling or "running"

□ The water line behind the toilet

□ Under kitchen and bathroom sinks

Please Note:

□ The Crest Association does not perform maintenance requests related to air conditioning units or appliances.

□ We strongly recommend that you change the filter on your air conditioner unit once per month and pour bleach or white vinegar down the AC drain once per month. If you have questions about how to do this, please contact us at the office. We do not supply air filters.

□ If you find mold in your unit, please notify your landlord or manager immediately and notify the management office the following business day.

*Please be aware that the owner will be charged for any water damage their unit, as well as damage to surrounding units. This is Crest policy and is detailed in our official documents.
