The Bullitt County Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time Accreditation Coordinator.
This position will serve under the direction of the Public Health Director and is being established tolead our organization in obtaining and maintaining PHAB Accreditation through defining processes; establishing procedures; structuring systems; identifying/developing/organizing documentation; training team members; providing resources to team members and all other duties as necessary to carry out this initiative successfully. The successful candidate will also lead the Quality Improvement team in identifying, approving, completing, implementing and reviewing projects for maximizing utilization of all resources; lead management team in developing, utilizing, monitoring, reviewing and revising performance management/measurement tools to ensure each program operates at its maximum efficiency; lead the Strategic Planning team in establishing, formalizing, implementing and reviewing goals and objectives toward the overall mission of the organization with a formal plan; develop, implement, monitor, review and revise a Workforce Development plan defining necessary training for assuring a competent public health workforce; participation in other programs, projects, training or functions necessary for the efficient and effective operations of the organization as defined and instructed by the Public Health Director.
Minimum Education, Training or Experience: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, Nutrition, Public/Business or Hospital Administration or other related degree.
Substitution for Education, Training or Experience: Bachelor Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, Nutrition, Public/Business or Hospital Administration or other related degree with two (2) years’ experience in a Public/Community health agency or health related position that demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities will substitute for the required education.
Salary Range: $18.28/hour; negotiable with additional experience. This position is designated as a Personal Services Contract offered with a competitive benefits package. Current merit local health department employees meeting the minimum requirements may be considered for transfer.
