Offers are invited from registered transporters to undertake the following transportation of imported custom cleared LCL & FCL cargo.

Scope of Work:

For LCL cargo movement :
To place required type of vehicle at the required place . Upon loading of cargo onto the vehicle, moving the same to Customer’s place at ATAdyar/R.A.Puram/Tharamani , Chennai . Upon unloading of cargo at the customer’s place, getting acknowledgement from customer and handover the same immediately to us (loading and unloading is our scope)

For FCL cargo movement :

To Place required type of Trailor at the required place, Upon loading of container carrying cargo onto the trailor, moving the same to Customer’s place at Adyar/R.A.Puram/Tharamnai,Chennai. Upon unloading of cargo from container, moving the empty container to Liner nominated plot and unload the same . Getting acknowledgement for receipt of cargo from customer and getting acknowledgement for receipt of empty container from plot officials and handover the same immediately to us (loading of container at loading point and unloading of cargo from container at customer’s place are our scope)

● Transporter/contractor is responsible for safe transportation of cargo from Load Point to Delivery point and till cargo is handedover to customer.
●Transporter/contractor should be able to position the required vehicle at required place within 3 hours of notice

●Contract will be for Six months from the date of work order. Can extend for another same period upon mutual acceptance with the same terms and conditions.

●Offer should be valid for for our acceptance for a period of 30 days

●Company reserves the right to reject/accept any/all offers without assigning any reason

●Company reserves the right to split the order for for more than one contractor

●Your offer rate to be filled in the rate columns mentioned above. All Rate columns are to be filled. No columns should be kept blank.

● Payment will be made upon successful completion of work and within 30 days from the date of submission of bills

● The contractor/transporter shall hold the Company harmless and indemnified from and against all claims, charges and costs for which the Company may be held liable under the Workmen’s Compensation Act 1923. Employees Liability Act 1930 and amendments thereof and expenses which the company may be made to bear by them in respect of personal injuries to the servants and employees of the company, arising out or occasion through the acts of commissions/omissionswhether due to negligence or not of the contractor/transporter or his agents or his employees in carrying out the job of the transportation. Contractor/Transporter shall pay your workers as per the Minimum Wages Act applicable in the State and shall indemnify the Company against any claims arising out of any action taken against the companyon account of your failure to fulfil the above condition.
