C-6 SCHOOL DISTRICT DRIVING AGREEMENT

SECKMAN HIGH SCHOOL

I understand that driving a vehicle and parking on school district property is a privilege and agree to abide by the following rules and regulations. I understand that violating these rules may be cause for disciplinary action and revocation of my driving privilege.

  1. I will register my vehicle and provide proof of minimum liability insurance. Only vehicles registered to my parents, legal guardians or myself will be considered. I must have a valid Missouri Operator License.
  2. I will park only in the areas designated as student parking and only in areas striped for parking. If I return to the student parking area prior to the end of the school day disciplinary action will be taken.
  3. I will display the hang tag issued by the school by placing it visibly on the rearview mirror. It is my responsibility to transfer the hang tag to any alternative vehicle that I may drive. I understand that if the hang tag is not displayed in the vehicle I am driving disciplinary action will be taken.
  4. If I am authorized to leave campus early, I will not transport any other student unless permission is obtained from the Principal and the other student’s parent.
  5. If I am an early release student, I am not permitted to return to campus unless prior permission is obtained from a Principal. I may return five minutes prior to the end of school for extracurricular activities.
  6. If I am in possession of contraband in my vehicle, it will result in loss of driving privileges and additional disciplinary action. Contraband will include, but is not limited to: cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, and stolen property. All vehicles on school property are subject to search at any time.
  7. I will drive in a safe and prudent manner following all traffic regulations. I will show extreme caution regarding school bus traffic. Careless and reckless driving including but not limited to cutting in line while exiting the parking lots, may be cause for revoking my driving privilege and disciplinary action.
  8. Ten (10)tardies and/or late arrivals to school will result in loss of parking privileges for one week. Twelve (12)tardies and/or late arrivals to school will result in a loss of parking privileges for the remainder of the semester with no refund available.
  9. I agree to allow law enforcement officials and/or school personnel to search my vehicle at any time.
  10. Parking tags are NON-TRANSFERABLE to another student.

I understand and agree to follow ALL of the above rules and conditions. The C-6 School District is not responsible for any damage incurred while any private vehicle is on district property.
