THE SPECIAL CONFERENCE

Awarethatthe study of artificial intelligence began in early 1970s when courses were introduced to students in Computer Science courses at some universities,

Emphasizing in the 1980s some products extensively used artificial intelligence,

Fully aware that this intelligent behavior by machines, rather than the natural intelligence of humans and other animals has shown that machines can learn by themselves without human help and still have accurate results,

Noting that artificial intelligence and the job market have resulted in a huge profit for businesses in the past,

Deeply concerned bycountries’ lack of involvement with artificial intelligence,

Having heard thatincrease of technology in the job market is referred to as the “Fourth Industrial Revolution,”

Affirming that the rise of the technology had brought changes, such as artificial intelligence (robots and Nano-technology), big data, virtual currency and renewable energy,

Deeply concerned by the potential rise of unemployment with the inevitable development of artificial intelligence,

  1. Encourages countries to stay ahead by making particular action plans such as:

a) Increasing awareness of their government, firms, schools, and research organizations of the potential positive effects,

b) Providing high-quality resources for this sector on the basis of systematic development of education and training,

c) Coordinating between enterprises and school,

d) Establishing policies to support high technology firms, start-ups,

e) Developing a vision and actions to adapt to the fast-moving revolution affecting local business production, organizational structure and customer demands;

  1. Suggests countries to adopt preferential policies to encourage new artificial intelligence products in order to promote the overall development of the technology market;
  1. Urges countries to attend conferences aimed at connecting business leaders and specialist international partners to exchange experiences, in which the development of the global market with artificial intelligence is discussed;
  1. Callsupon countries to invest in children’s education, adult learning programs and in general increase citizen's awareness and teach people to work with intelligent machines and prepare them for the administrative job market:

a) citizens will be informed by seminars, media, speeches from public figures and economists,

b) the educational programs will have to focus on math, judgment, decision making, and originality;

  1. Stresses that the development of robot technology should focus on complementing human capabilities and not on replacing them;
  1. Remindsthe nations which expect a decline in unemployment due to artificial intelligence requiring human sources such as:

a) Trainers and programmers for the robots,

b) People that will sustain the robots;

  1. Encourages corporations using and manufacturing AI to create new jobs for at least 9% ofemployees that are being let go in favor of AI to soften the number of newly unemployed people;
  1. Calls upon the use of local organization to support people whose jobs have been replaced by A.I by helping to:

a) Find other jobs in a similar field,

b)Seek out schooling for better jobs,

c) Promote small businesses which could use the influx of workers;

  1. Suggests that Member States establish a governmental body that is dedicated to monitoring cyber security, since the members will be dealing with a system that is faster and more capable than people by orders of immense magnitude,
  1. Remains actively seized upon this matter.
