Objectivesof Cheshire Without Abuse
To create lasting change in the lives of Individuals and Families affected by Domestic Abuse
Purpose of the Role:
To provide pro-active support, advice, guidance and specialist initiatives to victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and their children.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
◻Case work with victims of domestic abuse
◻Duty and clinic responsibilities
◻House Meetings and accommodation checks
◻Room turn overs, maintenance and facilities at accommodation
◻Intake sessions
◻Client assessments
◻Co-facilitation of recovery programmes
◻Partner support work
◻Modelling CWA behaviours and values both internally and externally.
◻Contributetothecontinuousdevelopmentof goodpracticeacrossCWAandpartners,being willingtochallengeandraiseconcernswhereappropriate.
◻Manage a caseload of cases
◻Supportclientsthroughthecriminaljusticesystem,explainingtheproceduresandtheirrole and rights within thatsystem
◻Help clients develop their own support network and utilise full range of activities at LJSC and in thecommunity
◻Refer on and facilitate meetings with other agencies/services as necessary, for instance, solicitors, benefit agency,etc.
◻Undertakesafetyplanningwithallclients
◻Refer high risk clients on toMARAC
