Compass Health Network’s Employee Recognition and Rewards Program

Compass Health Network is dedicated to the enhancement of workplace performance and organizational culture through employee recognition and rewards. Consistently recognizing and rewarding employee performance that is aligned with the organization’s values and mission improves customer service and increases productivity, engagement, and retention.

Purpose:

To recognize and reward Compass Health Network employees for outstanding job performance in accordance with the staff guidelines to service excellence that supports the organization’s mission. Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.

Program Goals:

Increase employees utilization of the guidelines to service excellence

Increase employees understanding of how their actions support the organization’s mission

Improve customer service

Enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention

Align employee behavior with the BETTER & BETTER culture

Awards:

You’ve Been Caught AIM-ing to be BETTER & BETTER–AIM-ing to be BETTER & BETTER award recipients complete their regular job duties with excellence. Their actions and behaviors consistently represent Compass Health’s BETTER & BETTER culture and promote the company mission. Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.

Number given:Unlimited

Frequency:As soon as the BETTER & BETTER action or behavior has come to your attention.

Selection Process:The award can be given by anyone to anyone.

Presentation: Anytime, Anywhere.

Recognition:Recipients will receive a certificate that explains their BETTER & BETTER action or behavior. The certificate will include details about the employee’s action or behavior, how it contributes to the BETTER & BETTER culture, and promotes our mission. Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.

Compass Champion Award– Compass Champion’sdemonstrate a commitment to the BETTER and BETTER Pledge and personify the “Way” of a Compass Champion. They go above and beyond their regularly assigned job duties to ensure BETTER and BETTER service, health, and lives for themselves, their peers, and our customers.

Number given: Unlimited

Frequency:Quarterly

Selection Process: Nominated by anyone and reviewed by theCEAT and Ambassador Teams

Presentation: Awards presented by someone who is one supervisory level removed from the recipient as soon as possible following the quarterly CEAT and Ambassador Team meetings.

Recognition: Recipients will receive a BETTER & BETTER certificate, a B Squared Pin, and $50.00.

Compass Summit Award- Recipients of the Compass Summit Award are teams of staff whoseaccomplishments, actions, or behaviors enhance the BETTER & BETTER culture & support the company mission. Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness.

Number given:One (1) teameach quarter from each region (awards do not have to be given if there is not a qualifying nomination)

Frequency: Quarterly (Twenty (20)Compass Summit Awards each year)

Selection Process: Nominated by peers, selected by the CEAT and Ambassador Teams

Presentation:Awards presented by someone who is one supervisory level removed from the team’s supervisor and will be presented as soon as possible following selection.

Recognition:The supervisor of the winning team will receive a budget of $10 per team member to be used for a celebration of the team’ choice. Each member of the winning team will receive a Compass Summit Team Pin and a certificate including details about the team’s actions or behaviors, how they contribute to the BETTER & BETTER culture, and promote the company mission. Over the Top Spirit Award- Over the Top Spirit Award recipients are individuals whose behaviors and actionsdemonstrate a true embodiment of Compass Health’s BETTER and BETTER Pledge. They exhibit the “Way” of a Compass Champion through leadership qualities and loyalty to Compass Health Network. Their actions and behaviors not only contribute to the BETTER & BETTER culture inside of Compass Health but through their community involvement as well. They Inspire Hope and Promote Wellness in every aspect of their lives, the lives of their peers, and the community.

Number given:One (1) employee from each region (awards do not have to be given if there is not a qualified nominee)

Frequency:Annually (Up to, but not over Six (6) Over the Top Awards each year)

Selection Process: Nominated by peers,finalists selected by the CEAT and Ambassador Teams, regional Vice Presidents select the winners.

Presentation: Awards are presented during Town Hall meetings

Recognition: Recipients will receive a plaque and $250.00.

These awards will recognize and reward individuals who use Compass Health Network’s staff guidelines to service excellence, which make up the BETTER & BETTER culture, to support and enhance the mission. Inspire Hope. Promote Wellness. Please refer to them when nominating and choosing award recipients.
