Agreement on Cooperation:
Article I
Preamble
1)UWB is a public university whose mission is to implement education, research and development, artistic and other creative activities, and within them mainly to prepare students for their future careers. 3)The Contracting Parties, led by the effort to fulfill their missions, declare, under this Agreement, their willingness to participate in cooperation and support each other in their mutual cooperation.
Article II
Subject of the Agreement
The subject of this Agreement is an agreement of the Contracting Parties on the form of cooperation between them, allowing, adequately and to an appropriate extent, for the development of the Contracting Parties’ partnerships.
Article III
Forms of Cooperation
1)The cooperation of the Contracting Parties, which is the Subject of this Agreement, shall take the form of mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas that are, under this Agreement, the objects of activities of the Contracting Parties, especially developing cooperation in the field of ......
2)Cooperation under the preceding provisions of this Agreement is realized mainly through the implementation of presentations, information campaigns,...... and other projects.
3)By signing this Agreement, the Contracting Parties declare that they will use the knowledge obtained under this Agreement for joint activities; they will implement an active information exchange in the areas of cooperation, using the latest information technology.
Article IV
Nature of the Agreement
1)This Agreement on Cooperation has a framework nature. The implementation of each project is subject to the conclusion of a separate contract to be concluded in accordance with this Agreement on Cooperation and in accordance with applicable law. Each contract will include the definition of specific rights and obligations of the Contracting Parties in implementing the project, especially financial conditions, scheduled events and requirements of the PARTNER for services related to the implementation of the event.
2)The Contracting Parties shall strive to create the best possible conditions for the fulfillment of this Agreement, as well as for concluding specific contracts in the areas covered by the Subject of this Agreement, and in other mutually beneficial activities.
3)The Contracting Parties guarantee that they will not benefit from the results of cooperation obtained under this Agreement without the consent of the other Contracting Party, and the results thus obtained and other information under this Agreement shall be considered confidential.
Article V
Final Provisions
1)This Agreement shall come into force and effect upon its signing by the authorized representatives of the Contracting Parties; all changes in the Agreement and additions to itshall be made after mutual agreement of the Contracting Parties in the form of written numbered supplements.
2)This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period with the option of termination for both Parties with a notice period of two months, which begins to run from the first day of the month following the delivery of the notice to the other Contracting Party.
3)Relations which are not explicitly stipulated in this Agreement, including compensation for damages, are governed by the relevant provisions of Act no. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended.
4)The Agreement is made out in four copies, of which UWB receives two copies and the PARTNER receives two copies.
5)Both Contracting Parties declare that they have read the Agreement and agree to its content, which reflects their true will free of mistakes. At the same time, they declare that the Agreement is not concluded in distress or under obviously disadvantageous conditions, in witness whereof they affix their signatures.
