Any Adjunct Faculty may use the DESKTOP of available desks in the workrooms.

Adjunct Faculty who teach 4+ classes may REQUEST ONE DESK DRAWER (or ONE file drawer) for ONESEMESTER, from Jeana Bodart (480-4201, Rm.1611, .)

Because of changing schedules, desk drawers need to be REQUESTED at the beginning of each semester, according to teaching load.

INCLUSION of ADJUNCT FACULTY:

Adjunct Faculty are warmly welcomed to all appropriate Ivy Tech events, such as (but not limited to) the All-Employee Day, Faculty Professional Development Day, Graduation, Faculty Assembly, department meetings, committee work, seasonal festivities, etc.

LOCKERS:

Adjunct Faculty may currently use as many lockers as needed in the 5 workrooms (Main Campus 1344, 1728, 2338, North 130, Harshman 2232).

Please tape your name on the lockers you are using.

MENTORING PROGRAM:

New Adjunct Faculty are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to be paired with a seasoned faculty Mentor.

Both Mentor and Mentee (if adjuncts) are paid up to 10 hours of mentoring, at their hourly pay

rate.

This program is being implemented statewide at all Ivy Tech regions.

Workshop sessions will be announced.

Adjunct Faculty may also choose to use the website program individually.

Professional conferences, program meetings, inservices, committee work, etc., provide ongoing professional development opportunities for Adjunct Faculty.

Adjunct Faculty can often be paid or reimbursed for participation in these events.

Participation in professional development events/activities are recorded and kept in Adjunct Faculty files, as evidence of ongoing professional development efforts. Those with themost participation are also recognized at the annual Adjunct Faculty Awards Ceremony in April.

Adjunct Faculty are encouraged to suggest specific professional development topics to address areas of need or interest. Contact Jeana Bodart (480-4201, Rm.1611,).

SCANTRON:

Type A is at Main Campus 1728workroom.

Type B is at Main Campus 1342, 2338, and North 122.

Each type (A and B) has its own unique scantron forms, available next to the machines.

Directions should be available by each scantron machine.

SECURITY:

Provided by off-duty commissioned Police Officers, 7:00am-10:00pm M-F, and 7:30am-4:00pm Saturdays, during Fall and Spring semesters. Summer schedule varies.

SUPPLIES:

Some supplies may be requested from Administrative Services (Room 1506), from your Program Chair, from Academic Affairs Support Services (Room 1600), from the Bookstore, or from JeanaBodart (Room 1611).
