- K9 – is an ATF Agent, explosive and accelerant specialist, 2 year old full bred lab
- Single Purpose Dogs vs Police Dog which are usually dual purpose
- Flammable Liquids, trained to detect odors at the scence or suspects, clothing, vehicle, etc 20microliters (size of GW nose on a quarter)
- Her alert is passive, works to the source and then sits
- Change of behavior, show me, reward her, eats only on reward, averages 38-40 times per day
- Weighed every week 50.2lbs and can only be +/- 2.5lbs variance
- Best sample, can be difficult, but we ask the dog to touch the spot with her nose to get the best sample.
- In a fire, the evidence disappears on the crime scene, through fire, so the K9 can be effective
- ATF Teams – 53 Accelerant Teams, across the country. Maryland has 5, some states have none. Part of the agreement is that they travel to anywhere in the Country when needed.

- Code of Enforcement in AACO is very good and you can measure against say Baltimore City that lacks code enforcement and the number of fires in Commercial Buildings.
