Sacred Heart School of Theology Is Seeking Comments from the Public in Preparation For

Sacred Heart School of Theology is seeking comments from the public in preparation for its periodic reaccredidation through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Sacred Heart has been accredited by the HLC since 1995.

Over the past year, Sacred Heart has been engaged in a process of self-study, addressing the HLC’s requirements and criteria for accreditation. An evaluation team will visit the school Nov. 9 through 11, 2009 to gather evidence that the self-study is thorough and accurate. The team will consider feedback from the public as part of this process. Comments from bishops, vocation directors, former students and others with knowledge of Sacred Heart’s programs, resources and learning environment would be especially valuable to the team.
