A working group to prepare the 447th Committee meeting will take place from 14 (commencing 11h00) to 15 April 2008 (ending 18h00) in the premises of DG TAXUD LX40 4 SDR/4. (Items of this meeting are indicated with an asterisk on the agenda). The results of the working group will be announced at the Committee meeting.

NB

If a Member State administration is unable to be present at the meeting, they are requested to inform DG TAXUD-B3 (Mr. K. Vangrieken) accordingly. Member States are reminded of the importance of point 3 of the agenda (opinion of the Committee with regard to draft legal measures) and that for that item they should be represented by a member of their respective permanent representation or by another Member State in accordance with Article 7 of the Rules of Procedure for the Customs Code Committee.

Member State administrations are also invited to inform DG TAXUD-B3 (preferably by e-mail and at least one week before the meeting) of any items they may wish to raise under "5. Any other business".

Member State administrations having submitted any of the classification cases on this agenda are invited to provide, whenever appropriate, the Committee with product brochures or samples of the goods in question.

Member State delegates are informed that the above-mentioned working documents can be found on CIRCA and paper copies will not be provided in the meeting room.

The Commission will exceptionally reimburse travel expenses for two representatives per Member State, one of whom must represent the Economic Tariff Questions Section of the Committee.
