Baptism

baptisma (βμα-Gk..) (noun) "baptism", consisting of the processes of immersion, submersion and emergence (from bapto, "to dip")

Purpose of baptism:

Acts 2:38Forgiveness of sins

And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins;

He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved;
