Team Up with Timo
“Timo Stories: Research has shown that being able to retell a story at age four is predictive of later success in school. Storytelling also helps children participate in daily life with friends, family and school.
Children on the autism spectrum and with other communication disorders, often cannot understand a story, speak in sentences or organize information to retell others.
Narrative-based language intervention (NBLI) is an approach that combines storytelling with skill-based activities. Timo Stories takes the best of those practices and integrates them in to an educational software program that is an easy to use and effective therapy tool.
Children engage in shared and repeated reading with Timo to work on:
* Listening * Answering “wh” questions * Retelling Stories * Vocabulary

Word Prediction software
As a student types, the software monitors the input letter-by-letter, and produces a list of words beginning with the letter sequence recorded. Each time a letter is added, the list is updated. When the target word appears in the list, it can be chosen and inserted into the ongoing text with a single keystroke.
