GENERAL INFORMATION

St. Paul’s College awards several scholarships each year. The DR. and MRS. MICHAEL TRAINOR SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded on the basis of membership at St. Paul’s College, outstanding academic achievement in first year (University 1), and demonstrated concern and leadership skills within the College and/or larger community. In order to qualify, students must have completed their University I program in the previous year, be enrolled in a 2nd year program in Science, Arts, Management, or if you are in 2nd year Education, and have completed 1st year Education, you are eligible to apply. Please include a current transcript of marks, and provide letters of reference. The award will normally be presented at the College’s St. Paul’s Day ceremonies in January.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

All applications for The DR. & MRS. MICHAEL TRAINOR SCHOLARSHIPS for the 2006/07 academic regular session must be received in the Dean’s Office prior to or on September 29, 2006 to receive consideration. You may drop off or mail the application to the above address. Application forms are also found on the University of Manitoba website: and can be emailed to . Please note that emailed application forms are only accepted after you receive a confirmation of receipt. Under certain circumstances a waiver may be granted by the Dean of Studies.
