Position: Adult Education Data Entry Specialist
Location: Douglasville
Department: Adult Education
Reports to: Adult Education Lead Instructor Douglasville Campus
FLSA Designation: Fulltime Non-exempt
Nature of Duties: Primary responsibilities are to:
· Provide daily data entry support to Adult Education utilizing the Georgia Adult Learner Information System (GALIS), including attendance, student intakes, and assessment scores.
· Engage in routine data audits to verify data quality, and offer changes to processes as necessary.
· Manage associated program spreadsheets related to scholarship awards, GED vouchers, student placement, and others as needed.
· Maintains associated program/student records and engages in record archiving as appropriate.
· Assists with program intakes, registrations, and testing sessions.
· Assists with special events/projects as needed.
· Performs various general clerical duties as needed.
· Attend associated project meetings as necessary/required.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a current employee of WGTC to apply
An Associate’s degree *and* three (3) years of related work experience.
*Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with GALIS.
· Knowledge of TCGS Office of Adult Education policies regarding data entry.
· Experience working in Excel and developing/maintaining spreadsheets.
· Knowledge of WGTC Adult Education program policies and practices.
Salary/Benefits: $27,040 - State benefits.
