Ag District #3 Invites you to enter the LABOR DAY PARADE and to participate in other events held in conjunction with NEVADA’S OLDEST RODEO.
The THEME for this year’s parade is
Theme: Bobby Socks and Bucking Broncs
Parade plaques will be awarded to Most Original and One Moccasin winners. Plaques and prize money will be awarded to First Place in all other categories and Rosettes will be awarded to second and third place winners in all categories. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE RODEO ON SATURDAY EVENING AND AWARDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP AT THE EVENTS COMPLEX OFFICE. The categories are:
Most Original (theme oriented)*12 years & under (open)
One Moccasin (judges discretion)*Best Musical
Hitch-drawn VehicleMounted Group
CommercialWalking Group (open)

The Parade Committee has final say when determining the category of each entry, based on the information provided on the enclosed entry form. Entries MUST be received by 5 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 to be judged. Late entries will be placed at the end of the parade (no exceptions). Sign-up will begin at 10:00 AM at the Model T Resort Casino on the East side, next to O’Reilly’s. Horse trailers, etc. should park behind the shopping area to the west of the Model T. Please enter at the Model T East entrance for check-in and lineup assignment.
Mounted children under five years old MUST have a lead line handled by an adult. All animals and mounted entries will be checked to ensure they are in suitable condition to participate. Alcoholic beverages are not to be consumed by entrants prior to or during the parade. The parade will end in the Events Complex parking lot. You may return to the lineup area by using Fourth Street.
