Unit 5In-Class Workstations

Your mission is to learn more about the Earth’s Resources and how to fix Planet Earth

Directions:

  • Bring in a folder with pockets no later than April 19th (start date)
  • This will be a separate homework gradefrom Workstations
  • Work is to be done individually unless otherwise indicated
  • Pick and do assignments on the sheet that are equivalent to 100 points in class unless otherwise stated(see list below)
  • Final date to turn in Workstation assignments is beginning of class on April 30th
  • You will receive separate grades for all assignments (see list below) and an overall grade based on the amount of points completed-Test grade
  • You must turn in every assignment as soon as you finish them
  • Some assignments will require materials you need to bring to classin advance
  • Some assignments will require computers (about 12 Laptop computers will be available from April 19-29 in the classroom).

______(35 points) Make a realistic model (need your own materials) and hand draw a schemic (blueprint) of one of the following: Must present to the class to get credit –April 30

  • Wind Farm (must be able to twirl)
  • Building or home using multipliable types of alternative energy
  • Futuristic car that uses alternative energy (must be able to move without pushing)
