STATEMENT OF MISSION:
The Watertown Athletic Booster Club is a nonprofit organization. The purpose of the Booster Club is to help provide financial and moral support to the Watertown Public Athletic Program. The Booster Club helps to maintain a wholesome athletic program based upon the needs of our student body. The Booster Club is involved in assisting the school with attendance at games, pride, unity, sportsmanship and finances not covered by the school system.

Meeting called to order at 7:03pm by President, Charles Starck.
PREVIOUS MONTH’S MINUTES
A motion was made bySue Putraand seconded by Kathie Bergen to approve the minutes from the February 8, 2016 meeting. The minutes were unanimously approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Starting Balance: $28,642.96
Withdrawals: $12,389.78
Deposits: $41,043.11
Ending Balance: $57,296.29
Outstanding Commitments:
Girls Softball – varsity uniforms - $5,000.00
Track – 100 jackets - $3,500.00
Dance – State trip/bus - $2,500.00
Total Outstanding Commitments - $11,000.00
A motion was made by Sue Putra and seconded by Dawn Miller to approve the Treasurer’s report. The Treasurer’s report was unanimously approved.
CONCESSIONS:
Karen Quinn – gave report.
- Track and Soccer are just starting.
- WABC decided that we would like to keep the concessions at Brandt Quirk during the Softball season. The profit justifies this decision. Karen and Dawn Miller will discuss how to handle bringing product in and out when we are sharing with Park & Rec.
- The slushy machine did not sell. Should we consider Craigslist?
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT

MEMBERSHIP
Sue Putra – gave report.
- We had three new Family Lifetime memberships: Mike & Susan Choinski, Walt & Connie Piel, and Dean & Karrie Zubke.
- Sue gave Jennifer Harris and Kathie Bergen updated membership lists.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Kathie Bergen – no report.
SPECIAL PROJECTS

ATHLETICS DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Mike Daniels- gave report.
- Thanks to Karen & crew for being flexible with all of the tournament games. We sold mostly soda & water. There wasn’t much food sold. Many girls from softball volunteered. Thank you!
- Congrats to the WBR for being High Kick champions at Nationals! Also, congratulations to Linnea Nagel for winning Best Choreography, as well!
- ACADEC earned the State Champion award in Division 1! What an accomplishment!
- The 4th Red Card meeting was held tonight. There was a fantastic turn out!
- The Badger Conference Athletic Directors are selling Mt Olympus tickets for $5 each. This is pure profit! Can we try to sell them in the Elementary Schools? Mike will see about getting that approved by Cassandra Schug.

- WABC Board nominations were made. They are as follows:
PRESIDENT – Jennifer Harris was nominated by Sue Putra, seconded by Kathie Bergen
Joe Rhodes was nominated by Charles Starck, seconded by Brent Yaeggi
TREASURER – Holly Triplett was nominated by Ursula Yaeggi, seconded by Sue Putra CONCESSIONS – Karen Quinn was nominated by Dawn Miller, seconded by Holly Triplett
PUBLIC RELATIONS – Kathie Bergen was nominated by Sue Putra, seconded by Karen Quinn
Sue Putra moved to close nominations and Mike Daniels seconded it. All nominations were voted on and passed unanimously.
The ballot will also include the opportunity for write-in candidates. The voting will take place at the April 11th meeting.
- Reminder that the 2015 tax return is due May 15, 2016. Holly Triplett forwarded items that are needed to Leah Wuchterl. We will ask Leah to forward the spreadsheets to Holly so she can categorize.
A motion was made byKaren Quinnto adjournat 7:36p.m., seconded by Dawn Miller and passedwith unanimous approval by the Booster Club.
NOTE: The next Booster Club meeting will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 @7:00 p.m.in the Lecture Hall at WHS.
