The meeting was called to order by Barbara Chambers (acting chair) at 1:10 p.m.
Corrections to the minutes of the June 17, 2010 meeting: Vicki Pertersen (spelling of her last name). Motion by Donna Allred, second by Terri Lipscomb to approve the minutes as corrected.
Legislative Update by Matt Siverling. Matt was delighted to report that this was his first time he was able to come to a conference. He reported that the legislators were on summer recess with a provision to come back on a 2 day recall for budget issues. Still no budget.
Regarding photo copier photos issue: able to get it into a committee bill SB1491 (David Valenzuela will track)
Regarding Law Revision Commission issue: re: clean up on translation issues. They are onboard with doing something next year. Vicki Petersen had earlier prepared language that we will probably use.
