Youth Art Month
A Frederick County Public Schools’ All-County Student Art Exhibit is at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center. This opportunity is Open andfreeto the public, the exhibit will feature more than 300 imaginative two- and three-dimensional creations by students from each public school.
Catch the festive opening Saturday, March 5 from 3-5 p.m. The show continues March 6-28 during the Delaplaine’s usual hours, 9-5 Mondays-Saturdays and 11-5Sundays. The Center is at 40 S. Carroll Street in downtown Frederick.For information, please call 301-698-0656 or visit
Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Registration
Children who are 4 (Pre-K) or 5 (K) on or before September 1, 2016 are eligible to register for Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten for next year. Registration begins on Monday, March 14th. An evening registration will be held on Tuesday, March 15th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Please bring a birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records. To be considered for automatic placement into Pre-K, please bring 2015 W-2s or 3 consecutive paystubs within the last 6 months. Students who are already in Pre-K this year do not have to re-register for kindergarten. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Coddington at 240-236-2650.
MSA Science
Our 5th graders will be participating in the MSA Science administration at the beginning of March. During this time, we ask that our 5th graders arrive and dismiss on time to avoid disruptions to the testing environment. To maintain test security, only approved staff members will be allowed into the testing areas. For more information, please contact Mrs. Wright.

Registro de Pre-KínderyKínder

MSA Science
Nuestros estudiantes de 5º grado van a participar en la administración de MSA ciencia a principios del mes de marzo. Durante este tiempo, pedimos que nuestros estudiantes de 5º grado llegar y despedir a tiempo para evitar interrupciones en el entorno de prueba. Para mantener la seguridad de la prueba, los miembros del personal aprobados solamente serán permitidos en las áreas de pruebas.
