Applications June 2017
Application Number / Address / Description / Proposed Comment by PC
17/03389/FU/NE / 3 Tern Park Collingham / Porch to rear
17/03518/FU/NE / Pear Trees School Lane Collingham / Demolition of existing front extension; construction of new single storey
front extension; dormer window to rear / Rear dormer dominates the elevation but not particulrly overlooked. Loss of one bedroom bungalow damaging for overal housing mix.
17/03860/FU/NE / Gorse Hill Linton Common / Laying out of vehicular access road to rear / Increase traffic on Trip Lane which during the neighbourhood planning process was recognised as a sub standard road and development leading to increased traffic using Trip Lane should be resisted. Unfortunately this was deemed outside the remit for a neighbourhood plan and the draft policy was removed. Trip Lane is public right of way 17 and part of the Ebor Way.
Impact on amenity of adjacent footpath which is public right of way 16, and safety issue at entrance/exit to the driveway due to close proximity of pedestrians and traffic.
No detail of surface provided - should be soft landscaping material. No details of any driveway entrance features such as a gate. These should be minimal to avoid impact on rural setting.
This may set an unacceptable precedent encouraging other property owners to seek similar permissions.
17/03777/FU/NE / Linton Springs Sicklinghall Road Wetherby / Change of use, alterations and single storey extension of offices to
form three townhouses and four flats
