SummerBeach Party – Jan. (summer theme games)
Tater Night – Kids bring potatoes decorated like their leaders. Council time message coordinates with theme (on the Awana website)
October (18) Alaska Day
Glacier Race, Klondike bars, ice fishing (fill a bucket with ice cubes. Fish marbles out with toes).
Bring your Teddy Bear to Work Day
(or any stuffed animal) prizes for biggest, smallest, ugliest, most unusual, etc.
Feb (1) Robinson Crusoe Day
October is Popcorn National Popcorn Month, National Pizza Month, Cookie month, & the anniversary of he 1st World Series
Awana Fever – Wear Team colors (points for each piece)
Jar with M & Ms in Awana Colors (guess how many)
Double Shares Night
Luau Night
Bible Heroes Night =- dress up (prizes)
Contest Balloon Blast – point for each section, each section earns a balloon, at end of contest, clubber gets a water balloon to throw/shoot at leaders.

Awana Month – (a chance for each team to participate in council time by singing specials, etc.)

Pocket Scavenger – Tell kids to stuff their pockets next week (girls can stuff their purse). Call out items and award points for whoever can find them. Ex: chap stick – 50 points.
Treasure Island -With an overhead projector, show an island with various point values on it (10, 20, 50).Cover the point values with pennies. Randomly pick verses out of the handbooks. Clubbers quote verse after being given the reference. Or get them started and see if they can finish the verse. If the answer is correct, the clubber picks a penny and the point value I reveled (you could give 2 pennies if they don’t need help & 1 if they do).
