Station 2 – Beginning Instructional Software

  1. Remove Topic CD carrying case from storage bin next to computer.
  2. CAREFULLY remove Topic CD from sleeve of carrying case.
  3. Hold Topic CD with index finger in whole and thumb on outer edge, with the label facing up.
  4. DO NOT touch recorded (shiny) surface of the Topic CD.
  5. Push button on CD-ROM drive ONCE to OPEN.

6. Place Topic CD on the tray, (label facing up) in CD-ROM drive.

7. Push button on CD-ROM drive ONCE to CLOSE.

8. WAIT for computer to load software before proceeding.

9. Select appropriate program by DOUBLE CLICKING on the ICON.

10. WAIT for the program to open before proceeding.

Station 2 – Ending Instructional Software

1. End program by clicking QUIT.

  1. WAIT for program to closed before proceeding.
  2. Exit software by clicking EXIT.
  3. WAIT for computer to unload software before proceeding.
  4. Push button on CD-ROM drive ONCE to OPEN.
  5. CAREFULLY remove Topic CD from CD-ROM drive.
  6. Return Topic CD to sleeve of carrying case.
  7. Return CD carrying case to storage bin next to computer.
