4. SIGNATURE
By signing the application, I am certifying that:
- I am at least 18 years of age. (Env-504.01)(b)
- Any power equipment I use for gold mining and dredging will be limited to 5 horsepower and will not have any fuel, oil or hydraulic leaks. (Env-Wt-304.14(a))
- Any suction dredges that I use will be limited to a 4-inch diameter intake nozzle. (Env-Wt-304.14(b))
- Any sluice and rocker boxes I use shall be limited to 10 square feet. (Env-Wt-304.14(c))
- I will not use mercury or chemicals for extraction. (Env-Wt-304.14(d))
- I will not dam or alter any streams. (Env-Wt-304.14(e))
- I will obtain written permission from the landowner before dredging. (Env-wt-304.14(f))
- My work will be confined to the beds of streams with no disturbance to the banks adjacent to streams. (Env-Wt 304.14(g))
- My project is not located in prime wetlands, the prime wetland buffer, marshes or bogs (Env-Wt 303.04(s)(2)). Prime wetlands link:
- The proposed project is not in a wetland that has been identified by NH Natural Heritage Bureau as an exemplary naturalcommunity, and/or that has documented occurrences of state or federally listed endangered or threatened species. (Env-Wt 303.04(s)(3)). Link:
