Job Title:Curriculum Coordinator
Accountable To:Director of Operations and Children’s Pastor
Status:Hourly
Part-time. (29 hours per week.) Sunday services
Job Titles Supervised: A team of volunteers
Purpose:To serve New Life Church by overseeing the development of curriculum for kids and content for parents that helps in their spiritual develop as Christ-followers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation, packaging and delivery of all content used for mid-week and weekend classroom time.
- Assist in the building the ongoing partnership with parents to disciple their children throughout the week. This will likely include sending home a study for parents and kids to do together.
- Work in on-going collaboration with the Resource Coordinator to ensure that the right supplies are matched with the curriculum.
- Unload and deliver curriculum to different locations throughout the church campus.
- Assist the Children’s Ministry departments by placing orders online or over the phone for curriculum related needs.
- Plan far in advance to ensure we have a clear plan and timely arrival of all pertinent content for children and parents.
- Make sure the equipment (printer, laminator, etc.) is working properly. Call for repairs when needed. Decide when we should print in-house or out source.
- Understand the inventory of the resource room, resource closet, and children’s resource cage.
- Attend weekly team meetings and coordinator with oversight for on-campus hours.
- Get regular feedback from staff and classroom leaders on how the curriculum could be more effective.
- Provide support toResource Coordinator on large projects when schedule permits.
- Be friendly and warm, willing to lend a hand to others, serving with a Christ-like attitude.
- Support New Life Church with your tithe.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of New Life Church and the World Prayer Center.
- Cooperate with the Children’s Pastorby performing any other duties when asked to do so.
Minimum Requirements
Education:High School Diploma

- A valid driver’s license
