FROM THE QUR’AN AND ISLAMIC STUDIES TEACHER
(1)The value for this month is honesty.
(2) Ayah of the month is from Surah At-Towbah: "O you who believe, fear Allah, and be in the company of the truthful." (119)
(3) The Prophet (SAWS) has said in a Sahih Hadith: "Hold on to truth, for being truthful leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. Verily, a man will keep saying the truth and striving for truth, until he is written before Allah as very truthful (Siddiq). Beware of lying, for lying leads to sin, and sin leads to the Fire. Verily, the man will keep lying and striving for falsehood until he is written before Allah as a great liar."

FROM THE ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER
I pray you are all well. I would just like to update you on the rewards and consequences here at Suffah Primary.
Alhumdulillah I am pleased to report the behaviour was up to a very high standard last half term with over 100 green merit slips being issued throughout the school for various achievements and progress; including exceptional behaviour, displaying actions relating to our value of the month, producing great work and for continued positive participation in class.
I would like to give a special mention to Haadee in Year 3 for displaying conscientious community spirit.
I would like to thank you for your continued support; please continue to work with us to encourage your children to gain as much as they possibly can at school.
JazakAllah Khair

FROM THE ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Assalamu’alaikum wa Rahmatullah
We hope you all had a restful half term break.
Insha’allah we have another exciting half term coming ahead of us and it only through the support and cooperation of parents that we can achieve this.
I would like to remind parents to kindly ensure children arrive at school for 07:40 am and to pick them up promptly at 03:15 pm. If you are running late please either call or drop a text to the School phone with the name and year group of your child and the estimated time of arrival.
Please could parents kindly send in any changes to their contact details or their child’s health as soon as you are made aware. It is essential that the School has the correct details of your child and their medical history and any medication they may take, in case of any emergency.
I would also like to remind all parents to kindly provide a healthy lunch and snack with their child on a daily basis. Encouraging children to eat a nutritious, balanced diet early on is important for a number of reasons, such as helping them grow and develop optimally and feeling more energised and motivated, supporting their ability to learn.
Please also escort your child/ren to the School doors on arrival every morning from 07:35 am onwards.
