This project is part of the 6-center Lung Repair and Regeneration Consortium recently implemented by the NIH. The purpose of this project is to identify extracellular matrix proteins responsible for major epithelial, mesenchymal, and endothelial functions during lung regeneration, as well as to devise bioreactors large enough to support human lung regeneration.
