Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting for Saltford
held at Saltford Hall, Saltford,
on Tuesday 2nd April 2013commencing at 6.00 pm
1.INTRODUCTION
The Chairman of the Parish Council, CllrMathew Blankley, was presentand therefore chaired the meeting. He welcomed those present, of whichthere were 18people who signed the attached Attendance Register.
Apologies were received from John Norris of St Mary’s Church, June Wentland of Saltford Library, and Cllr Neil McKen.
2. MINUTES
The Minutes of the 2012 Annual Parish Meeting held on 3rdApril 2012 were
presented and were confirmed as a correct record and signed by theChairman.
3. SALTFORD COMMUNITY AWARDS PRESENTATIONS
The Parish Council Chair, Cllr Mathew Blankley, presented the Saltford Community Awards, and thanked Cllr Duncan Hounsell for introducing the awards scheme.
Winners of Lifetime Achievement awards were:
SARAH LLOYD. Sarah was unable to be present to receive her award, but a cheque for £50 was presented to Saltford Day Centre on her behalf.
JOHN THOMAS. John thanked the Parish Council and others involved with Saltford Community Association, and his £50 cheque will go towards the new mobile youth service starting up in Saltford.
CYNTHIA WILSON. Cynthia thanked the Parish Council and the Friends of Saltford Library, and asked for her £50 cheque to go towards the Lord of the Manor’s grave repairs.
Joint winners of the Good Neighbour award were:
KATE GODFREY AND PHOEBE GANE. Kate and Phoebe were unable to be present to receive their awards.
All winners are invited to an award ceremony on the opening day of Saltford Festival,
Saturday 8th June 11.00 am at Saltford Hall.

Representatives of the following organisations in Saltford were in attendance andpresented their reports on activities over the past year together with theirplans for the coming year:
