Homework: Leave your spelling list in your take home folder for the week so you can practice your words at school. Pick three spelling activities in a row (diagonal, horizontal, or vertical) to complete, using your spelling words for the week. Mark the activities you choose with an X. All activities should have your name on them, be written neatly, and be stapled behind this paper. Remember to study your words the night before the test! Have fun!! J

Write each word on two index cards (or small paper squares) and play Concentration. (Memory) (Flip all cards face down. Flip over 2 words. Spell the word aloud then try to find the matching pair. (Put cards in a zip loc, staple to tic-tac-toe, and use cards to study.) / Write a poem using at least 10 spelling words. Underline the words. / Go to spellingcity.com. Have an adult give you a practice test with your spelling words. Have them say the words aloud and you write them on the paper. Then have them check your words. If you got words wrong, practice those words at least five times with an adult. / Can you think of another fun way to practice your spelling words?
