EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - Full time ongoing commencing January 2018
(probationary for the first 12 months). Actual start date negotiable.
The College invites applications from experienced, enthusiastic and outstanding Administration Officers to join our Student Support Services team for 2018. Bunbury Catholic College is a co-educational secondary school catering for Year 7 to Year 12 students across two campuses. The Educational Administration Officer is responsible to the Vice Principal, and the Deputy Principals to provide a wide range of administrative support in data entry and management, time lines, grids, school reports, handbooks etc.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The position requires the staff member to possess:
Qualifications
Essential: Certificate III or IV in Business, or Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or two or more years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the use of computerised management information systems including database, spreadsheet, desktop publishing and word processing.
Knowledge
· Communication – excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
· High level of confidentiality especially when dealing with students records.
· Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate with harmony to staff and students as well as the College community.
· Experience working in a secondary school is an advantage.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
· A willingness to be actively involved in all College activities and support the Catholic ethos of the College.
· Be flexible in their work attitude, able to multitask and work unsupervised.
REQUIREMENT: New Employees will be required to provide:
· Working with Children Card
· Obtain a National Check of Employment Status
· Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.
