Council Member __________________ presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption.

WHEREAS, the City of Johnstown has received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation’s Office of Community Renewal under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program; and

WHEREAS, the City has been awarded funds from the CDBG program to support the Johnstown Renewables, LLC project; and

WHEREAS, in order to comply with HUD procurement requirements, the City must advertise a Request for Proposals, attached hereto as Schedule “A”, for a consultant to assist the City with the administration of the grant.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise, once in the Leader-Herald, the official newspaper for the City of Johnstown, that the City is accepting Requests for Proposals for a consultant to assist the City with the administration of the grant. Request for Proposal Forms must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 33-41 East Main Street, Johnstown, New York. The deadline for a written response is Friday, February 10, 2017 by 1:00 p.m., at which time responses will be opened by the City Clerk and City Treasurer.
