JOB CORPS “WE CAN DO IT” NOMINATION FORM

During National Women’s History Month, we will recognize female Job Corps students who are leaders on center and in their career training areas. Modeled after the iconic “Rosie the Riveter,” our campaign will feature female students who demonstrate courage, ambition, and hard work. If you know a young woman who is setting an example at your center, please let us know!

Do you know a Job Corps woman who:

  • Demonstrates hard work and ambition in pursuing her goals?
  • Strives to go beyond expectations with work-based learning opportunities?
  • Is a leader on center?
  • Isconfidentin sharing her story on Facebook?

If so, please complete the form belowand send it to Evan Galin (),and we will follow up as necessary. This is open to women studying in any of Job Corps’ career training programs.

Please submit nomination forms by Friday, March 6. One woman per region will be selected by the Regional Offices and featured on the Job Corps Facebook page.

Photo Guidelines:

  • Nominee should be wearing her training uniform, including safety gear like goggles if necessary. Note: If her training uniform includes a mask or helmet, please make sure it is not pulled down over face. It can be pulled back on her head.
  • Please have the nominee remove any facial jewelry, including nose rings, lip rings, and earrings.
  • Make sure the nominee does not have any visible tattoos in the picture.
  • The photo should be taken of the student from the waistup.
  • The staffer should take the photo of the student against a plain backdrop, like a classroom wall or dorm wall.
  • The photo should be portrait-oriented, high-resolution, and at least 600 pixels wide.
