Candidates taking the examination in September 2014 and beginners who are planning to sit the exam in the near future are expected to benefit immensely.

THE FACULTY:

1. Professor Janesh Gupta, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Birmingham, U.K. conducts postgraduate courses in the UK and is the author of many books including the renowned Short Essay Questions for MRCOG Part II.

2. Dr Anbu Subbian, DGO, DNB, MRCOG, Fellow in Gynae Oncology, Course Co-ordinator, Bangalore.

3. Senior members of the college with vast experience and members who have recently passed the exam.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

Special orientation for candidates who have not worked in the UK.

Recent exam questions and hot topics will be emphasised upon.

Practice sessions of MCQs, EMQs and SAQs will be held everyday.

Training and tips on how to tackle OSCE stations with a mock OSCE circuit.

MRCOG material will be provided on USB sticks.

Individual feedback will be given at the end of the course.

Successful theory candidates would be assisted in procuring clinical attachments with hospitals in the U.K. prior to the OSCE for 2 - 3 weeks. Would need to get all the required approvals from the hospitals for attendance. There may be a fee associated with getting these approvals and the current fee for Birmingham Women’s Hospital is £400.

OSCE circuit - Saturday, July 19, 2014 (10am - 2pm)
