Please Note: On receipt of your application for any award, you will be sent an emailed acknowledgement. If you have not received an acknowledgement within 7 to 10 days of sending your application, please contact the Scholarships Coordinator promptly. We MAY NOT have received your forms.

The applicant is responsible for ensuring that references are submitted by the appropriate closing date.

This application form is to be used in order to apply for a scholarship or award from Lincoln’s Inn for the Bar Professional Training Course. You may also apply for a Hardwicke Entrance Award on this form. You do not need to be a member of Lincoln’s Inn to apply for a scholarship or award, but you may only apply to one Inn. Do not attach a CV to this form, it will be discarded. Applications may not be emailed.

We ask you to give the names of two referees to support your application. The Inn does not write to referees or chase up references on behalf of applicants. Please ensure that your referees send their references directly to this office before the closing date for applications. (References may also be appended to the application form provided they are in sealed envelopes). Signed, scanned references may be emailed – see notes.
