Character Counts2015!
During the second semester, many activities occur for eighth grade students, two of which are the 8th grade Gradventure field trip to Universal Studios on May 15, 2015, and the Bon Voyage Party on May 29, 2015. The cost of the field trip includes transportation to and from Universal,event admission, dinner at the park, and a trip t-shirt. There is no added cost to attend the Bon Voyage Party.
In order to promote positive character and earn the opportunity to attend the field trip and end-of-the-year partyenrichment activities, all students must meet the following criteria:
- Students must return this contract signed by both student and a parent no later than Thursday, January 15, 2015.
- Students may not receive any In-School Suspensions, Out of School Suspensions, or Bus Suspensions between January 20, 2015and the day of the Bon Voyage.
- Students must not have any outstanding media center obligations.
Please do not send money in now.
**The anticipated cost of the trip is $80.00 for students and $75.00 for chaperones. **
**A letter will follow in March with additional information and money due date. **
Because of the need to purchase tickets and reserve buses in advance, no refunds can be given. Please make sure your child understands that if he/she fails to meet the “Character Counts” criteria, we cannot refund the ticket/bus cost. We apologize in advance for any hurt feelings this may cause.
