Install USB Driver on your PC from the CD

Connect FWT to your PC on USB port using

Hantel’s USB Cable.

Found New Hardware Wizard will appear on your screen. Install it. Telson Modem will be installed on your PC automatically.

Click on Start / Control panel/ Phones & Modem/Modem

Select Telson Modem and click on Properties.

Port speed as 115200

Click on Advance and write extra initialization command at+crm=1

Click on Diagnostic and query Modem to check successful installation of Modem.

Modem should be detected/queried successfully.

Click on Start/Control Panel/Network Connections/Create New connections

Create Dial up Internet connections. Phone No. of the ISP is #777. User name is

cdma and password is cdma for all users.

  • AIRTONE 800-1X

Operating System Windows 98/Windows 2000 professional/Windows XP

Install USB Driver (PL-2303 driver) on your PC from the CD

Connect FWT to your PC on USB port using Airtone’s USB Cable.

Install Modem Driver on your PC from the CD

Click on Start/Control Panel/Phones & Modem/Modem

Click on Add. Then select don’t detect my modem, I will select it from a list and click next. Select Have Disk and click on next. Click on Browse and select path

C:\programme files\Via telecom,inc\DataAccesskit\115K\CPB4.0FaxMdmdrv and click on OK. Select right serial com port for data and Click on Next. You will find a message Your Modem has been set up successfully.Click on Finish.

(To find which port the USB is in, go to MY COMPUTER -> PROPERTIES -> DEVICE MANAGER -> PORTS)

Via CPB4.0 Modem will be installed on your PC. Again Select Modem and Click on properties. Set Port Speed as 115200. Select Advance and check Extra Initialization command at+crm=1;+cps=33;+cmux=1;+cta=0 which it will take automatically during adding the modem.

Create Dial up Internet Connection selecting Via CPB4.0 Modem where ISP Phone no. is #777 and User name cdma and password is cdma for all subs.

(you will find Dial up internet connections automatically created as CDMA2001X. Change user name and password in it)

  • LG 260B IFWT

This IFWT should be used for providing CCB/STD ISD PCO Or to provide Fax services. This IFWT supports ordinary fax as well as PC fax.

  • For Internet and PC Fax, install LG USB Modem driver on your PC.
  • Click on Start/Control Panel/Phones & Modem/Modem
  • Select LG Modem and click on properties
  • Set Port Speed 115200, Extra initialization commandat+crm=1;at$lgpkt=3
  • Click on Daignostics and query Modem to check successful installation of Modem.
  • Create Dialup Internet Connections selecting LG Modem and ISP Phone No. #777 and User name cdma and password as cdma.
  • NIC Card

Run Application Software of EC321 Card i.e.Huawaidatacard.exe. (CD\EC321\Software\manager software\setup)

Steps for Configuration of EC321 Card are –

A. Run FWT Configuration tool software. (CD\EC321\Software\Configuration tools\VER\Set up

FWT(Fixed Wireless Terminal) Configuration Tool is a PC software developed for the service and maintenance of EC321 Data Card of Huawei Technologies. It is running on the Windows platform. When creating an account for a EC321 Data Card , a service provider can make use of this software to set the key NIC parameters like PRL, A-KEY, and IMSI.

Insert EC321 Data Card (NIC Card) in PCMCIA port.

Open FWT Configuration tool as shown in figure or short cut can be available on desktop.

Enter correct port no. & baud rate 115200 and click on OK

After entering port no & baud rate 115200 it will display SW Ver., HW Ver and ESN of EC321 Data Card on bottom of FWT Configuration Tool Window.

Go to Service maintenance & Input SPC code as 000000(Default) as shown in figure.(Caution – Do not modify SPC code )

After entering SPC code, select NAM1 and input the Channel No., SID/NID,MCC,MNC and MSIN

Click on Download PRL File, Browse CD\EC321\Software\PRL file\320_channel.prl

And click on write (Do not Click on write all)

You will get message Written successfully, reboot terminal

Close FWT Configuration Tool Window and Remove hardware safely by clicking on right bottom icon of hardware and then select right hardware and click on stop.

You will get message that you can remove hardware safely. Reinsert it in PCMCIA port.

Open the Application Software Window i.e. Huawei Mobile Connect for Voice and Data Call. Click on Tools, Network setting and Click on New. Give Profile name, User name and password. Click on Save and then OK.

Then click on Connect for browsing internet.

  • EVDO Card

Install ZTEPSTv1.03.04 software for programming of EVDO card. ZTEPST V1.03.04 shortcut will appear on your desktop.

Install ZTE EVDO Setup application software on subs PC. ZTE EV-DO shortcut

will appear on desktop.

Insert EVDO card in USB port/PCMCIA port.

Find out COM Port by Right click on My computer\Properties\Hardware\Device manager\Ports

Double click on ZTEPST V1.03.04 and give COM Port no. in COM : You will get Connected and ESN and Software version in the window of ZTEPST V1.03.04

Click on Read from Phone. Then correct at IMSI_S and click on Write to Phone

Your card programming is complete.

Now double click on ZTE EV-DO you will find following screen and ICONs

Connect/Disconnect Open URL

Help

Click on Settings change Username cdma and Password cdma.

Click on connect. You will find message after authentication message that Internet connected.
