CareerConnections Scholarship Program Guidelines

The CareerConnections Scholarship Program was established to provide a one-time scholarship to defray expenses of post-high school collegiate education of children, grandchildren and dependents of Associates. Up to $35,000 in scholarships is available in 2014.

Eligibility

· Must be a child, grandchild, spouse or dependent of a full-time Camping World, FreedomRoads, Good Sam, AutoMatch USA, or CarCash Associate [1]; and

· Must be at least a currently enrolled high school student Grade 12 applying to an accredited two or four-year college or university; or

· Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or university or an accredited graduate college or university program;

· Entering college freshmen must have a high school GPA of at least 3.3, an ACT score of 24 or a combined SAT score of 1650;

· Returning undergraduate students must have a cumulative college GPA of at least 3.2;

· Post-Graduate candidates must have at least a 3.2 GPA.

Selection Criteria

The CareerConnections Scholarship Program strives to identify future leaders who are career driven and involved in their school and community. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements over and above the eligibility criteria and answers to short-essay questions. Short essay answers will be graded based on content (including whether the question was answered), conciseness, grammar and spelling.

Submission and Deadlines

The Deadline to receive Applications is 11:59pm CST on June 30, 2014. Applications may be submitted in hardcopy or online; electronic submissions are encouraged.

Award Notification

Recipients will be notified of the award by July 31, 2014. The Scholarship Award will be deposited directly with the Bursar’s Office of the listed institution. Recipients are solely responsible for any and all tax implications of this award.
