Proceeds from the Blount Hospitality House Rudolph Run will benefit theBlount Hospitality House. The house opened in 1980 as The HospitalHospitality House, Inc. The present house, now called Blount Hospitality House opened in April of 1998. The House serves family members from all hospitals in Huntsville, and also offers support to out-patients who are taking day treatments. Through gracious gifts and donations, we will
continue to provide a caring atmosphere for those who need a “home
away from home.”
The Blount House can accommodate up to 30 people each night.
The House is supported solely by funds provided by fundraisers,
churches, clubs, businesses, individuals, and house guests.
No government funding is provided, so your tax deductible donations
are greatly appreciated. The House offers a wide variety of services
at a minimal charge to guests, including a fully equipped kitchen, full
laundry rooms, and access to the internet.
Race Day Details
The Rudolph Run will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run.
The course will “fly” participants through the beautifully decorated
streets of downtown Huntsville, including the Twickenham and Old
Town Historic Districts. The 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 1
Mile will begin at 9:15 a.m. The Awards ceremony will begin at
9:30 a.m. Both races will start at Santa’s Village on Franklin Street, downtown Huntsville.

RACE WAIVER: I, individually, (and/or as a parent, and/or guardian
of the named minor) for and in consideration of acceptance of this
entry in the aforementioned event, do hereby release, remise, waive,
and forever discharge the Blount Hospitality House and any and all other
supporting groups of this said racing event, together with all their officers,
agents, officials and employees, from any and all liability, claims,
demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of, or relating
to any injury, illness, loss, or damage, including death, relating to
participation in this event. In addition, I agree that my participation
in this event requires that I will not participate with roller blades, baby joggers,
skateboards, animals, headphones, or anything which the race director deems
dangerous to myself or other participants and that the race director may remove
me from this event for a violation of said policy. I further grant permission
