Rationale for having the Expectation
The quality of consistently treating someone or something with respect is a sign of maturity. Respect allows directions, guidance, and opinions to be expressed in a constructive and beneficial manner. By doing your share, you will be able to show respect for achieving and reaching personal goals.

At the beginning of the school year, each grade level is called to a discipline assembly to review the Code of Conduct and other school policies and expectations. Classroom teachers review the Code of Conduct in the classroom, followed by a short assessment. Additionally, we will be using our Personalization Period to review the School-wide Behavior Plan, as well implementing the discipline lesson plans from LEAPS and to air the student made videos where expectations and rules are addressed/modeled.

- 8/22/16 – through 2nd Period
- 8/24/16 – through Personalization Periods
- 8/30/16 – Grade Level Assemblies throughout the day

Who is responsible for teaching the Lesson Plan?
All teachers are responsible for reviewing the Code of Conduct in their 2nd period class, as well as administering a student assessment. Additionally, all teachers with Personalization Periods will be responsible for discussing the School-wide Positive Behavior Plan, providing instruction for LEAPS lessons and allowing students to view student made videos. Grade level assemblies will be the responsibility of administration.
