Q1: Is the Embassy providing drawings?
A1: No, it will provide specifications for the requirements.
Q2: Why do we need to install 2 poles on both sides on the secure side of the driveway gate?
A2: The work consists of installing 2 gate retention poles to prevent any forced entry.
Q3: Do we have to install shatter resistant window film (SRWF).
A3: Yes
1. The contractor shall install 200 micron (8 mil) SRWF on all east/south doors and windows.
2. The contractor may also choose to replace all the east and south facing windows with laminated glass consisting of two sheets of glass with an inner shatter-proof 200 micron or 8 mil membranes between them.
Q4: What category of cabling has to be used?
A4: A good quality category 6 (new cabling) UTP cabling system for data and RJ6 for TV cabling. Details will be provided in the updated RFP.
Q5: How many Satellite Dishes will be installed?
A5: 3 Satellite Dishes (min 120 CM) in aluminum to be installed on the roof with appropriate equipment for the multi switch installation.
Q6: Who will provide cables for Radios?
A6: The Embassy will provide the radio cables.
Q7: What’s the material needed for the ramp railing?
A7: Chrome/Inox.
Q8: What’s the height of the ramp railing?
A8: 90cm.
Q9: Do you require buffing the entire marble floor?
A9: No only the exterior marble floor.
Q10: What’s the space between the swimming pool and the grills?
A10: 2m.
Q11: Do you want to keep the removed palms?
A11: They all need to be removed out.
Q12: Where do we need to install the spots/lights and what’s the measurement between each one?
A:12: Around 30 spots/lights need to be installed, with 1m space between each one, from the
Residence entrance all the way around.
Q13: What about all the trees around the garden wall?
A13: They need to be trimmed back but the same height shall be kept.
