Contract and Investigator-Initiated P01
MeetingTitles
(10/14/11)
Contract and investigator-initiated P01 meetings have different titles that are used for meeting materials depending on if the information is for internal use only or publicly available.
Internal Use Only
Files only sent to or seen by internal staff or reviewers (i.e., internal memos, COI attachment 2, meeting agenda, etc.) can contain the specific meeting title as described below.
For contracts: the RFP/BAA announcement title available in the RIMS or on the admin review database menu.
Pre and Post-Meeting Memo Template Description
Roster and Agenda for RFP (BAA)-NIAID-XXXX-NIHAI20XXXXX, “Title of the RFP or BAA”” (not ‘NIAID Peer Review Meeting’/Roster Title)
For investigator-initiated P01s: For reviewer materials, the generic expertise-related title (i.e., Immune Tolerance, etc.) set by the SRO and/or on the admin review database menu can be used. For internal memos, the PAR announcement title is used as described below.

For charter committees that include 1 or more investigator-initiated P01s: Committee meeting name: # grant applications (i.e., 1 K01, 2 K99s, 6 K08s) and a program project in response to PAR-XX-XXX, “Name of PA/PAR” (i.e., PAR 10-271, NIAID Investigator Initiated Program Project Applications) and then list the PI name & degree(s) as described above
Publicly Available
Files that are sent to or can be seen by the public (i.e., Roster and Federal Registry Notice) should only contain the genericmeeting title.
For contracts: “NIAID Peer Review Meeting”
For the investigator-initiated P01s:the related announcement title found in the RIMS (i.e., “PAR-10-271, NIAID Investigator Initiated Program Project Applications (P01)”). No PI names should be listed.
If an SRO has two meetings with the same title on the same day:
The publicly available title can be modified slightly. For example: ZAI1-XL-I-C1 “NIAID Peer Review Meeting-1” and ZAI1-XL-I-C2 “NIAID Peer Review Meeting-2”.
Note:
For RFAs and PARs that are notinvestigator-initiated P01s:
The meeting title should be exactly the same as the announcement title. For example: “PAR-11-108: Centers for AIDS Research & Developmental Centers for AIDS Research (P30)”.
If multiple funding opportunity announcements are involved, the titles can be combined. For example: “NIAID Clinical Trial Planning (R34) Grants and Implementation (U01) Cooperative Agreements.”
