What We Are Looking For?

The CPAI National Student SparkSocial Enterprise Competition seeks to develop our students as social entrepreneurs.

Application Template

1. Overview

This section should give an introduction to your project and the circumstances in which it was established. This should give somebody who is reading about you and your project for the first time a good sense of what it is all about. Please keep it short and succinct as you will be able to expand your proposal in other sections of the proposal.

2. The Issue.

In this section, please define the problem or issue that you are working to address.

Define what the societal issue or problem is

(NOTE: In this section, please do not provide any details about the work that you are doing or how you are addressing this problem. Please just focus on describing the problem itself. Please draw on any examples or research evidence to support your answer.)

3. Your Solution

This section presents your solution. It describes what you do, and explains how your solution works in addressing the societal issue/problem. Please draw on examples and research to support your answer.

4. What’s Different?

You should be aware of what is currently being done to address this problem in Ireland and know the market in which you operate. You should be able to explain why your approach is different, innovative and more effective than existing approaches in tackling this societal issue. You must identify at least two projects/organisations in Ireland who, at some level, are working on this problem. No matter how unique your solution is, there should be someone out there to which you can compare yourself.
