Purpose/Goal and
Rationale / Provide students with a roadmap to writing a paper. From the first draft to final editing and revising the students will learn how to get through the writing process from start to finish.
Learning Outcomes / Students will be able to go through preparation (Brainstorming & freewriting)
Students will be able to recognize and prepare all the phases in a 1st draft
Students will be able to identify types of secondary sources
Students will be able to understand the difference between revising and editing

Professors will be emailed ahead of time to be asked to choose between a persuasive or topical prompt that students will go through the process of brainstorming or freewriting/journaling, class will then discuss the individual experiences
