The Regular Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Drew Myers
at 7:00 p.m.

Residential Service Turned Off $53.55 monthly billing
Minimum Meter Rate Under 10,000 gal. $162.60 monthly billing
Meter Rate for 10,000 to 50,000 gal. $.01656000 gal.
Meter Rate for next 50,000 gal. $.01481300 gal.
Meter Rate for next 999,999 gal. $.00683700 gal.
Meter Service Turned Off $81.30 monthly billing
Turn On and Off Charge $50.00
Sale of Water $.1454 gal.

9.3 2017 Christmas/ New Years Hours of Operation

THAT Machin Council approve the Municipal hours of operation over the 2017 Christmas/New Years period as follows:
Municipal Office
Closed December 25, 2017 to January 2, 2018 inclusive.
Public Works Department
Will operate their regular hours but will be closed on the following:
December 25 (full day), 26 (full day), 2017 and January 1, 2018 (full day).
Woodland Arena
Woodland Arena will be closed to the public from December 24, 2017 to January 1, 2018 inclusive, but will accept private rentals upon request at the Manager’s discretion.
Landfill Sites (Vermilion Bay and Eagle River)
The Landfill Sites will be closed December 26, 2017.
Eagle River Rink
To Be Announced depending on ice conditions.

9.7 Lead Hand Woodland Arena

THAT Machin Council approve of hiring Jamie Henry for the Seasonal Lead Hand Positon at the Woodland Arena with a starting rate of $16.37 per hour and a one year probation period.

9.8 Full Time Water Operator

THAT Machin Council approve of hiring Shawna Alberts for the Full Time Water Operator for the Municipality of Machin with a starting rate of $25.00 per hour plus Benefit Package, OMERS, three hours of pay per day in-lieu of On Call Time, two hours Call Out pay when called in and a one year probation period.

9.9 2018-2019 Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund (OSRCF)
-Need more information and bring back to next council Meeting.
9.10 Fire Truck Testing
-The issue is moving the benches and causing damage to the dock. Kurt will discussed this issue with Ryan Murrell from the City of Dryden and report back to Council.
