Wincro Metal Industries Ltd manufacture a wide range of corrosion resistant fixings, produced using high quality grade 1.4301 (304) stainless steel. Grade 1.4401 (316) stainless steel can be specified for use in corrosive environments. The range is designed to satisfy most standard masonry to masonry, masonry to concrete and masonry to steel work applications.

Type: / Head Restraints

/ Designed to restrain the top of masonry walls. They allow vertical movement to accommodate shrinkage or thermal movement of the wall or structural frame, whilst restraining wind loads.
Wincro WT75HR head restraints
Restraint for the top of internal wall, or the inner leaf of a cavity wall. The
WT75HR is designed to suit standard 215 mm high blocks with a 25 mm
maximum joint at the top, and can be adjusted to suit 190-275mm cut block
depths. The WT75HR has a single 9 mm wide slot to allow fixing to the
underside of a structural member and provides a safe working load of 1.5kN.
Wincro WT75HRC head restraints
Restraint for the top of internal wall, or the inner leaf of a cavity wall. The
WT75HRC is designed to suit standard 215 mm high blocks with a 25 mm
maximum joint at the top. The WT75HRC has a notch to allow fixing to a WC38 or 38/17 channel cast into the underside of a structural concrete member and provides a safe working load of 1.5kN.
Wincro WT75BHR
Restraint for the top of internal wall, or inner leaf of a cavity wall. The WT75BHR has two angles which clamp the top of the wall and each have 10mm holes for a single fixing to the underside of a structural member and provides a safe working load of 1.0kN. Universal size suits 100 and 140mm blockwork.
